Winter Projects

Hellooo everyonee. I'm really glad I'm on break again! Today I'm wearing two of my very own DIY pieces. The first one is this awesome necklace I made last week and the second is this purse that I studded last year. I actually also changed the straps on the purse for these chains that I bought at Michaels and i braided it with some leather i had leftover from the original straps. I always get so much satisfaction from doing DIY projects. It really is a great way to renew old clothes and keep entertained for a couple hours (or a couple days in the case of the purse) Worn with an Alexander Wang-esque gray tank top, leather pencil skirt and leather ankle foldover boots.

DIY: Statement Necklace

Now that school is out, there's definitely more time for DIYs and projects I've been thinking about all semester. I was cleaning up my closet when I found bags of buttons and broken bracelets. I knew I was saving them for a reason!. So After an spending an hour each with some cement in my hand and "Funny Face" on tv, I turned all these little bits and pieces into these amazing necklaces. I'm really pleased with how they turned out (the black one is not finished yet) especially since I didnt spend anything on them :) hehehehe
